Stars in the House, and its hosts Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley, are celebrating raising $1 million for The Actors Fund in the past 15 months since the start of the Broadway shutdown. On March 16, 2020, Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley launched “Stars In The House” in response to what they knew would be an immediate need for funds in light of the Broadway shutdown. Now, one year and over 375 episodes later, “Stars In The House” has raised over $715,000 for The Actors Fund & an additional $200,000 for other charity organizations.

It includes the usual world premiere ('The Legend of Sleepy Hollow'), a New Jersey premiere ('Lost on the Natchez Trace'), a comedy by a Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright ('The Late Christopher Bean'), an American detective joins Holmes in our popular radio-style productions ('Holmes and Carter Mysteries') and our enchanting storytelling holiday show ('Christmas with Harte and O. Henry.') Special events include our standing-room-only Student Workshop Production and A Sunday Film Series that includes incredible silent features with live organ accompaniment. Our performance venue is the historic First Presbyterian Church of Cape May, located at the corner of Decatur and Hughes, between the beach and the Washington Street Mall.
