Ray Meagher Joins UK PRISCILLA; Booking to Jan. 2012
Ray Meagher, best known on television for playing Alf Stewart in the long running Australian soap Home and Away, will re join the West End cast of Priscilla Queen Of The Desert The Musical as mechanic Bob from 5 October 2011, following his hugely successful run in the show last year. With booking now open at the Palace Theatre until 7 January 2012, Meagher joins Don Gallagher (Bernadette), Richard Grieve (Tick) and Oliver Thornton (Adam) in the internationally award-winning musical at the Palace Theatre.
RIALTO CHATTER: PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT to Finish West End Run in December?
According to Whatsonstage.com, Priscilla Queen of the Desert might finish its West End run at the end of December 2011. A publicist for the show told Whatsonstage, 'The producers of Priscilla Queen of the Desert the Musical made the decision today to inform the London cast and crew of the likelihood that the show would end its three-year run in the West End at the end of 2011. No formal notice has been given.'

Mark Moraghan, best known for playing Consultant Owen Davies, a role he played for 5 years in BBC1's Holby City, will join the cast of West End hit Priscilla Queen Of The Desert The Musical, to play mechanic Bob. Moraghan joins previously announced new cast member Richard Grieve, who plays Tick, from 7 March 2011. The Olivier award-winning musical, which is currently booking at the Palace Theatre until 7 January 2012, also stars Don Gallagher as Bernadette and Oliver Thornton as Adam.

London's 'Drowsy Chaperone' to Close on August 4
The London production of The Drowsy Chaperone, which opened at the Novello Theatre on May 14th, will have its final performance on Saturday, August 4th 2007, following a decision made by the producers.
Steve Pemberton Joins UK Chaperone as Man in Chair 7/10
The League of Gentlemen's Steve Pemberton will join the cast of the London production of the five-time Tony Award winning The Drowsy Chaperone to play Man in Chair. Pemberton will take over from Bob Martin on Tuesday 10 July.
