BIO

Seán Patrick Judge was born and raised in Iowa City, Iowa, where he grew up to study Theatre and French at the University of Iowa. At age 25, he moved to Chicago, and then New York to work extensively on stage. Upon moving to Houston in 2004, Seán began working in small film projects and voice over work. Seán was recently seen in Main Street Theater/Prague Shakespeare Company's co-production of Henry V, Texas Repertory Theatre's production of The Lion In Winter, Main Street Theatre / PSC’s productions of Richard III and Coast of Utopia trilogy, Black Lab Theatre’s production of Farragut North, and is a proud company member of The Catastrophic Theatre, where he most recently performed in their production of The United States of Tamarie. Other roles going backwards in time include Freud in I Am Barbie, Cutler Walpole in The Doctor’s Dilemma at Main Street Theater, Prologue in Mildred’s Umbrella’s The Flu Season; Aston in Stagger Lee’s The Caretaker; Esteban Trueba in Main Street’s House of the Spirits; Jim Lehrer in Catastrophic’s The Strangerer. Before joining Catastrophic he was a member of Nova Arts Project where he performed as the title character in Thom Pain (based on nothing); various roles in The War of the Roses Cycle; Lord Cyril Loveworthy in Love Loves A Pornographer; Daddy in TempOdyssey; Claudius in Hamlet; and various roles in Oedipus3. Before moving to Houston, Seán lived in New York, appearing in Much Ado About Nothing with Spartan Theatre; Eric LaRue at HERE; and The Merry Widow at Regina Opera of Brooklyn. Chicago credits include Malvolio in Talisman Theatre's production of Twelfth Night; Claire in the The Maids; and Stanek in The Protest/Vanek Plays at Trap Door Theatre; Manny in The Ring Cycle: The Musical! at Famous Door Theatre; Joey, Rick and Donny in the long-running Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding in Chicago; Pozzo in Waiting For Godot; and Prince Conti in La Bête for Riverside Theatre in Iowa City. Seán would like to thank Eddie for his amazing support, and the memory of his parents, who whole-heartedly supported his life in the arts. Seán is a proud member of the Actors' Equity Association.
