Shakespeare & Company to Kick Off 2017 Fall Festival of Shakespeare with MACBETH & 'MIDSUMMER'
Hundreds of teenagers from ten different high schools will take to the stage at Shakespeare & Company, beginning November 16th, for the 29th Fall Festival of Shakespeare. An annual tradition, the Fall Festival is the culmination of the nationally recognized program that places Shakespeare & Company Education Artists in ten local and regional schools, where they lead students in a nine-week exploration of creative thinking, teamwork and Shakespeare.

Written by Lake Water's Troy Deutsch (Standby for John Gallagher Jr. in Broadway's Rabbit Hole), IN A TILTED PLACE is a kaleidoscope of a play where lovers, addicts, mermaids, and other strange creatures all stumble through a bizarre, hilarious, and sometimes frightening reality- from Rockefeller Center to the High Line- and nothing is quite as anyone imagined it would be.
IRT Theater's IN A TILTED PLACE Begins 8/8
IRT Theater presents Troy Deutsch's (Rabbit Hole on Broadway) IN A TILTED PLACE, a kaleidoscopic play directed by Ashley Brooke Monroe (Assistant Director Fun Home on Broadway; Assistant Director The Mystery of Love and Sex at Lincoln Center) and Courtney Ulrich (The Feast; Resident Director The Flea Theater). IN A TILTED PLACE will play a four week limited engagement at IRT Theater (154 Christopher Street, Buzzer 3B-3rd Floor, New York, NY 10014). Performances begin Saturday, August 8th and continue through Sunday, August 30th, 2015 . Opening Night is Monday, August 10th at 8:00 pm. Casting, Dates Set for Shakespeare & Company's 2015 Season; Launches May 22
Shakespeare & Company has finalized casting for its 38th performance season, and released a complete schedule of Opening Night dates. The announcement was made this week by Interim Artistic Directors Ariel Bock and Jonathan Croy, along with a positive report from Interim Managing Director Stephen D. Ball on the Company's box office successes to date. Shakespeare & Company's season opens on May 22 with The How and The Why, by Sarah Treem.
LES FAUX PAS Launches 2013 Bankside Festival Today
The work of Jean-Baptiste Poquelin, better known to us as Moliere, returns to the Rose Footprint Theatre (the Company produced Tartuffe on the Footprint last season) with a new adaptation of one of his sauciest plays, Les Faux Pas: or The Counter Plots. Director Jenna Ware, who also adapted the piece, pulls out all of the stops with this riotously funny play. Featuring a cast of 11 new-comers and Company favorites Jenne Jadow and Dana Harrison Les Faux Pas: or The Counter Plots kicks off the Bankside Festival. Press Opening is tonight, July 6 at 5:30PM.
