GETTIN' THE BAND BACK TOGETHER Sets September Closing on Broadway

The producers of Broadway's Gettin' The Band Back Together, announced today that the show will close on Sunday, September 16 following the evening performance. It will have played 30 previews and 40 performances at the Belasco Theatre (111 W 44thStreet). Previews began on July 19 and the show opened on August 13. Town of Sayreville, NJ Becomes Co-Producer on GETTIN' THE BAND BACK TOGETHER

Gettin' The Band Back Together today announced that the town of Sayreville, NJ will join them as co-producers. "Our whole show is a love letter to New Jersey, and specifically to Sayreville where it takes place," said producer Ken Davenport.

West Side Story Celebrates 50th Anniversary in Paris

West Side Story celebrates its 50th anniversary at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris. Opening on November 20, the production of the celebrated 1957 show revives Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim's score and Jerome Robbins' conception and choreography, with a book by Arthur Laurents-who will attend the full dress rehearsal on November 18.
