Scott Rice has made a name for himself over the past ten years in the Nashville Theatre community. He has most frequently performed with the Boiler Room Theatre in Franklin, TN where his credits include LUCKY STIFF (original 2001 cast and 2007 revival cast), LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, the title role in MCBETH! THE MUSICAL COMEDY, GUYS & DOLLS, SWEENEY TODD, GODSPELL, EPIC PROPORTIONS, HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING, DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, ALMOST A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, CABARET, URINETOWN, ASSASSINS, DAMN YANKEES, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, A HARD-BOILED CHRISTMAS, and most recently, LES MIZ 2: A TALE OF TWO CITIES. Other Nashville area credits include THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE and MACABARET with Street Theatre Company, BEYOND THE FRINGE at Chaffin's Barn Dinner Theatre, ARCADIA and the upcoming PACIFIC OVERTURES with Blackbird Theatre, and several productions with the Nashville Opera Ensemble including THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE, IOLANTHE, H.M.S. PINAFORE, TURANDOT, LA BOHEME, and the supporting role of Ruder in their production of THE STUDENT PRINCE. Scott is originally from Murray, KY and holds a B.F.A. with Musical Theatre Emphasis from Northern Kentucky University.
