New Jersey's Great Swamp is nestled with a 55-square-mile natural basin, about 25 miles from New York City. It is a quiet, undisturbed place which provides a home for more than 200 bird species, many mammals, and a variety of reptiles, amphibians and fish. It is also the home to one of New Jersey's largest breeding populations of Eastern Bluebirds. But it almost was lost.
Student Performers From Australia Head To The USA To Participate In The Junior Theater Festival And More
With stars in their eyes, an intrepid team of 41 young performers known as the "Aussie All Stars" are headed to the United States to serve as Australia's youth musical theatre ambassadors. The student performers will begin their journey in New York City to participate in theatrical performance workshops and attend Broadway shows. From there, the Aussie All Stars will head to the annual Junior Theater Festival in Atlanta, GA, and finish their adventure in Anaheim, CA by participating in the Disney Performing Arts program.

The Wizard of Oz has been thrilling capacity audiences since it opened and impressing critics as well. The Sunday Telegraph called it "Impressively lavish" with "Stunning sets and costumes … audiences are in for a treat." Sydney Arts Guide claimed it's "a breathtaking musical revelation" with "new enchanting and unforgettable songs", while the Sydney Morning Herald said the production is "a visual treat."
