BIO

Training: Scott went straight into Singin’ in the Rain at Chichester Festival Theatre after graduating from Arts Ed last summer. Productions whilst training included: Spring Awakening, Chuck in Footloose, Carousel, Sweeney Todd, Muse, Side by Side by Sondheim, Beautiful Thing and Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

Theatre includes: most recently, Prince Charming in Sleeping Beauty (Nottingham Theatre Royal). Also, vocalist in 2011 Olivier Awards (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane), ensemble in Whatonstage Awards 2010 (Prince Of Wales), Broadway to West End (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane), Jack and the Beanstalk (Devonshire Park, Eastbourne), Christmas in New York (Lyric), and understudy Dandini in Cinderella (Wolverhampton Grand) and Aladdin (Wolverhampton Grand) for Qdos.

Television includes: Royal Variety Performance 2011.

The producers of the MAMMA MIA! International Tour have announced extra dates at the Blackpool Opera House this summer. The exclusive UK Summer Season was originally due to run from 20 June to 31 August, but, due to a huge demand for tickets, the season has now been extended until 14 September 2014. Blackpool will be the only UK venue outside of London to host the worldwide hit musical this year.

Film and television star Robert Powell will join the cast of Singin' in the Rain from 1 October 2012, as the five star West End production announces the release of over 300,000 new tickets, taking bookings at the Palace Theatre to 1 September 2013. The news coincides with the 60th anniversary of the release of the iconic 1952 MGM film version starring Gene Kelly, Donald O'Connor and Debbie Reynolds. The Original London Cast Recording of this production of Singin' in the Rain was also recently released by First Night Records, reaching number one on the soundtrack chart during its first month on sale.
