Rothkin & Michaels to Stage TEN TALES OF TERROR
Producers Andrew Rothkin and Jay Michaels have come together to produce a series of scary plays befitting the season. This trick or treat bag is filled with prominent artists, guest directors, and premieres. Joseph Koch of Manhattan's memorabilia haven Forbidden Planet and Brooklyn's Warehouse of Wonder (more than 1,000,000 comic books and other memorabilia) is supplying vintage giveaways and prizes. Illustrator Songe Riddle created original poster artwork for the event... 'alas poor... Yorick?'

This is the tragic love story of Violetta, a selfless, terminally-ill woman forced into a questionable occupation and her true love, Alfredo Germont. Violetta must leave her love at the behest of his upper-class father and family. Will Violetta die alone and in poverty? Will Alfredo ever know the truth?

The Bronx Opera invites you to follow the famed mischievous brother and sister into Ilsenstein forest and meet the echoing trees, the little Sandman, the 14 angels of protection, the little Dew Fairy, and emerge in front of the enormous gingerbread house and meet the evil Rosine Leckermaul ('Rosina Tastymuzzle'), the evil witch that turns children into gingerbread in this classic Humperdinck opera based on the famed Brother Grimm story.
