Fringe ArtSpace has announced the debut of the first two original productions from the inaugural Collective incubator program: Without Fear Theatre showcase the neurodiversity-affirming story of two strangers learning to connect using more than words featuring a live band acting as narrator with a 1970’s rock flare in “FIND ME: A Modern Rock Opera” February 23-March 3.
Walton Arts Center Launches Mosaix Festival
Walton Arts Center's new Mosaix Festival will explore the various cultural tiles that come together to make Northwest Arkansas unique and diverse. Each year, a different culture will be highlighted with a weeklong celebration of that culture's performers and performing arts. The inaugural Mosaix Festival April 20-25, 2020 explores the sights and sounds of India.
Walton Arts Center to Present THE LIGHTNING THIEF
Walton Arts Center will host technical rehearsals and three preview performances on Jan. 4-5, 2019 for the new national tour of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical, a musical adaption of the New York Times best-selling novel written by Rick Riordan, before it embarks on its first national tour.
HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS IN CONCERT Comes to Walmart AMP
The Harry Potter Film Concert Series returns to the Walmart AMP with Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets in Concert, the second film in the Harry Potter series. On Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018 at 7 pm, a full orchestra including members of the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas will perform John Williams' unforgettable score from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, while the film plays in high-definition on a 40-foot screen.

Walton Arts Center is excited to announce the 2018-19 Procter & Gamble Broadway Series, which includes eight must-see shows. On Tuesday, December 9th, the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts School of Arts previewed classes for the January 5, 2015 inaugural spring semester. The preview event took place at the School of Arts Tupperware Brands Corp. Lobby at The Dr. Phillips Center. Registration for the spring semester is available and students can register for classes and view a complete listing of classes at drphillipscenter.org/arts-education or call the School of Arts at 407.455.5551. Registration by December 17 is encouraged to ensure placement. Any student that signs up from December 9 through December 17 will receive a Tupperware Brands water bottle on their first day of class. The University of Akron's Center for Conflict Management and Akron's Center for Applied Theatre and Active Culture (CATAC) presents The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts national tour of WARRIORS DON'T CRY, sponsored by AETNA. An adaptation of the award-winning (American Library Association Award, 1995 Nonfiction Book of the Year; Robert F. Kennedy Book Award) memoir of the same name, authored by Dr. Melba Pattillo Beals, this newly produced one-woman performance comes to The Balch Street Theatre, 220 South Balch Street, Akron, OH, 44302 for two public performances on January 17 and 18, 2013 at 7:30pm.
