Columbia Stages Presents THE CORSAIR, 2/13-16
Columbia Stages is proud to present THE CORSAIR, inspired by "The Corsair" by Lord Byron and conceived and directed by Katie Naka (MFA Directing Candidate, 2013). THE CORSAIR will run February 13-16, 2013 at 3LD as part of the Columbia Stages season, comprised of MFA thesis plays directed by graduating Columbia University School of the Arts students.

Theater company Polybe + Seats is proud to announce the premiere of the first-ever English translation of Rene Charles Guilbert de Pixérécourt's Alice, or the Scottish Gravediggers. This sinister 1829 French melodrama, translated by Daniel Gerould and directed by Artistic Director Jessica Brater, with additional scenes by Libby Emmons, Avi Glickstein, and Katya Schapiro, will have a limited engagement of 16 performances only beginning Thursday, October 20th as part of the company's year-long residency at the Old Stone House in Park Slope, Brooklyn.

Jim Simpson Directs 'Offending the Audience' at The Flea, Begins Jan.21
The Flea Theater will present a revival of Peter Handke's Offending the Audience. It will be directed by Jim Simpson featuring a cast of 22 members of The Bats, the resident acting ensemble at The Flea. Performances begin January 21 with opening night scheduled for Thursday, January 31 at 9PM.
