Sarah was born and raised in Australia and fully trained in all facets of dance, theater, and the performing arts. Beginning her professional career at age 12, she performed in musicals, commercials and TV shows throughout Australia and won numerous awards including The Variety Clubs ' Queensland Entertainer of the Year' in 2000. At 17, she moved to New York City to pursue a career in the U.S. and set her sights on Broadway.
After scoring her first U.S. gig as the "Lead singer" on the " 100th Anniversary Harley Davidson Open Road Tour" in 2001 with now Tony-Award winning choreographer Christopher Gatelli. Sarah traveled throughout the U.S., Australia, and Japan alongside such headliners as Kid Rock, Hootie and the Blowfish, Aerosmith, Tim McGraw, Lynard Skynard and Bob Dylan.
She then made her BROADWAY debut in the musical "42nd Street" at age 20. After performing on the great white way, Sarah moved to Las Vegas to join the Original U.S. company of the Queen smash musical "We Will Rock You" where she understudied and performed the lead role of 'Killer Queen.'
Working directly with Brian May and Roger Taylor (Queen) and Director Ben Elton, Sarah won rave reviews when she stepped into cover the lead role after only weeks of rehearsal. On the night WWRY opened in Las Vegas, Brian personally invited Sarah and selected cast members to sing live on stage with him and a bevy of rock and roll legends at the official after party gala. Performing on stage were not only Brian May and Roger Taylor but Steve Vai, Steve Lukather, Meatloaf, Glenn Hughes and Chad Smith (from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers).
Planting her feet in both the theater and music industry, Sarah relocated back to NY and recorded her demo of 3 original pop/rock songs with producer Anthony Santonocito in 2005.
After time in the studio, Sarah took on the role of lead singer in all girl Led Zeppelin tribute, LEZ ZEPPELIN. In the band she toured through a roller-coaster of over 300 shows across ten countries with rave reviews, including making appearances in Rolling Stone (U.S., Germany, and Japan), Time Out New York & Chicago, Entertainment Weekly, The London Times, BBC.UK, CNN.com, The Sydney Morning Herald, AOL.com, Relix Magazine, The Boston Globe, Seven News Australia, The Australian, The Sunday Mail, The New Yorker, Vh1, MTV News, CNN News, CBS Sunday Morning, and much more.
Described by SPIN magazine as "...the most powerful all-female band in rock history," and by Rolling Stone as "the next best thing," Lez Zeppelin released a self-titled debut album on Emanation Records / Redeye Distribution produced by the legendary Eddie Kramer. Kramer worked on many of the original Led Zeppelin recordings as well as records by Jimi Hendrix, Kiss, AC/DC, and the Beatles among others. The album is available in the US and Europe and upon release in Japan, charted on the Billboard Top 100.
Sarah has also choreographed and taught numerous master classes and conventions throughout the U.S. and Australia. She is also a judge for 'The Australian Dance Championships' and 'Access Broadway.'
