The pub crawl begins at The Dubliner (45 Stone Street, NYC) at 2:30pm and moves to Route66 Smokehouse (46 Stone Street, NYC), The Irish Punt (40 Exchange Place, NYC), and The Full Shilling (160 Pearl Street, NYC). Check-in is at 2:30pm at The Dubliner.

Bourbon Express Premieres PICK ME UP With The Daily Country, New Album Out 4/20
Brooklyn based honky-tonk band, Bourbon Express, announces the release of their latest studio-album, Cry About It Later, produced by Eric 'Roscoe' Ambel (Steve Earle, Joan Jett), on April 20, 2018. Today, The Daily Country premieres 'Pick Me Up', the first single from the album. 'Pick Me Up' is an autobiographical song written from the point of view of a newly wedded woman who's so depressed about being broke in the wake of her honeymoon that she wishes there was some kind of buzz she could get that would last until payday. SHAKESBEER With An Irish Twist Spills Onto Stone St
For the second year in a row, ShakesBEER, NYC's Original Shakespearean Pub Crawls, is a featured special event of the Origin's 1st Irish Theatre Festival, currently running in New York. Produced by NY Shakespeare Exchange, this special women-powered edition of their community-building, immersive pub crawls will unfold in the Financial District near Stone Street on consecutive Saturdays -- January 27 & February 3, from 3pm to 6pm.

Cleveland Play House (CPH) will begin the New Year with a captivating production of Yentl. Based on the short story 'Yentl, the Yeshiva Boy' by Isaac Bashevis Singer and adapted for the stage by Leah Napolin and Singer, Yentl tells the story of a young Jewish woman rebelling against the limitations placed upon her gender by society. This incredible CPH production will be directed by Michael Perlman and will run from tonight, Jan. 10 - Feb. 2 in the Allen Theatre at PlayhouseSquare.

BWW Reviews: CWRU/CPH MFA Prodction of TWELFTH NIGHT Goes Somewhat Awry
The Case Western Reserve/Cleveland Play House MFA Acting Program's class of 2014 has some excellent actors who should do well in their professional pursuits. Their production of TWELFTH NIGHT has some performance highlights, but the students appear to have been done a disservice by what could be declared a misdirected version of TWELFTH NIGHT. Maybe they can use the experience to learn the necessity of consistency of intent and directing execution.
Rory O'Malley to Record Personal Video for '8' at Cleveland Play House; Full Cast Announced!
Cleveland Play House, with license from the American Foundation for Equal Rights (AFER) and Broadway Impact, will produce a one-night-only staged reading of '8,' a play chronicling the historic trial in the federal constitutional challenge to California's Proposition 8, written by Academy Award-winning screenwriter and AFER Founding Board Member Dustin Lance Black.
