BIO

Sarah Kathryn is a seventeen-year old actress, sometimes blogger and budding screenplay writer, living and working in and around Washington D.C. and New York City. She made her professional stage debut in May 2016 in Compass Rose Theater's production of The Roar of the Greasepaint, The Smell of the Crowd. In 2017, Sarah Kathryn performed the role of Laurie Morton in Theater J's Helen Hayes Award Recommended production of Brighton Beach Memoirs, directed by Matt Torney. She also was cast as the understudy for the role of Cathy in The Hard Problem by Tom Stoppard at Studio Theatre, and was thrilled to have the opportunity to actually perform in that Helen Hayes Award Recommended production. Sarah Kathryn concluded 2017 playing the role of Martha Cratchit in Ford Theatre's production of A Christmas Carol. She will always cherish having had the opportunity to be part of such a wonderful D.C. holiday tradition. Sarah Kathryn appeared at Arena Stage in the D.C. production of American Scoreboard produced by Fran Kirmser and Chris Burney.

Most recently, Sarah Kathryn originated the role of Summer in the world premiere of Craig Garcia's Linger, the 2018 winner of Premiere Stages' Play Festival. Director, John J. Wooten, described Linger as a “topical new play [which] provides a fascinating look inside a family’s quest to keep matters private in a modern world where social media makes that virtually impossible . . . Their journey is as harrowing as it is thought-provoking.” Sarah Kathryn was thrilled to be part of this new work, which was well-received by audiences and critics alike. In 2019, Sarah Kathryn appeared in 13 the Musical at Cadence Theatre in Richmond Virginia.

Other recent stage roles include Rita/Ethel in ATMTC's production of Thoroughly Modern Millie, Jr., Baby Louise in Gypsy and Little Cosette in Les Misérables. In June 2017, Sarah Kathryn appeared in an episode of Information Discovery Channel's series, Evil Stepmothers, and in several episodes of HBO's Divorce.
