Isabelle McCalla and More Join the Cast of Lyric's 42ND STREET, Starring Norm Lewis and Faith Prince
Lyric has announced full casting for its production of 42nd Street, to be presented May 29 - June 21, 2020, at the Lyric Opera House, 20 N. Wacker Drive, Chicago. Previously announced Broadway stars Norm Lewis (Julian Marsh) and Faith Prince (Dorothy Brock) are joined by Isabelle McCalla (Peggy Sawyer), who recently starred in Broadway's The Prom and Aladdin, and Ashley Day (Billy Lawlor), who reprises his role from the West End revival of 42nd Street.
BWW Review: The Gateway's FLASHDANCE, THE MUSICAL
The Gateway theatre company's thrilling production of Flashdance, The Musical, is truly an electric way to end their busy Summer season. The sensational regional premiere, running through September 15th at the Patchogue Theatre, is excellently directed by Keith Andrews and boasts an absolutely superb cast. And though it is based on the famous 1983 movie, fans of the movie (like myself!) will notice several changes and will be pleasantly pleased in the stage incarnation.

Berkeley Rep presents World Premiere of IMAGINARY COMFORTS
Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the world premiere of Imaginary Comforts, or The Story of the Ghost of the Dead Rabbit, written by Daniel Handler and directed by Tony Taccone. The new play begins previews on Thursday, October 5 and the show runs through Sunday, November 19. Individual tickets begin at $30 and can be purchased online at berkeleyrep.org or by phone, 510 647-2949. Press night will be on Thursday, October 12.

A Radio City Choreographer will review video submissions and select the top four finalists, which will be posted on www.Rockettes.com beginning April 28th. The rest is in the hands of the public! From April 28th through May 2nd, the public will have the opportunity to visit www.Rockettes.com and vote for their favorite dancer. The dancer whose video receives the most number of votes will be selected as the 'winner'and be announced at www.Rockettes.com on May 3rd.
Los Angeles Ensemble Theatre Concludes 2008 With 'Quixotic'
The critically acclaimed Los Angeles Theatre Ensemble concludes its 2008 Season with the World Premiere of a new comedy that is both poignant and timely. Quixotic by Kit Steinkellner, a modern re-telling of Cervantes' classic novel 'Don Quixote,' opens on October 30 at The Powerhouse Theatre in Santa Monica.
