Aan het begin van het komende theaterseizoen zal de productie Musical Autumn Nights te zien zijn in slechts elf Nederlandse theaters. Per voorstelling zullen vijf solisten, in wisselende bezetting, met ensemble te zien zijn. De productie zal van september tot en met november te zien zijn in Roosendaal, Roermond, Veldhoven, Heerhugowaard, Den Haag, Uden, Capelle aan den IJssel, Rijswijk, Amstelveen, Spijkenisse en Beverwijk. De kaartverkoop voor alle voorstellingen van de Musical Autumn Nights is inmiddels van start gegaan via https://linktr.ee/musicalautumnnights.

Vanavond gaat de theatervoorstelling Hotel Wonderland in première, de eerste grootschalige immersive theatervoorstelling van Nederland, ook wel 'onderdompeltheater' genoemd. Deze vorm van theater kent al succesvolle producties in New York (Sleep no More) en Londen en wordt gekenmerkt doordat er geen onderscheid is tussen zaal en podium. Bezoekers lopen rond door het decor en ontdekken zo de verschillende karakters en verhalen.

Eerder maakte Goedemorgen Theaterproducties bekend dat Linda Verstraten en Sanne den Besten te zien zullen zijn in de nieuwe Nederlandse musical Checkpoint Charlie. Zojuist liet producent Fons van Rongen weten dat Wim van den Driessche, Marleen van der Loo, Job Bovelander, Alex van Bergen, Pieter van Nieuwenhuyze en Jeffrey Italiaander de cast compleet maken. Checkpoint Charlie is vanaf januari 2023 te zien in de Nederlandse theaters.

Linda Verstraten, momenteel te zien in de musical Titanic, stond eerder in Kinky Boots en Hugo de Groot, de musical. Sanne den Besten werkte de afgelopen jaren op West End in Londen en speelde daar onder andere in Les Misérables en Mamma Mia. In Nederland werd zij bij het grote publiek bekend door haar deelname aan het tv-programma ‘Op zoek naar Maria’. Producent Fons van Rongen: “We zijn ontzettend blij met Linda en Sanne in onze cast. Beiden zijn krachtige actrices, ontzettend getalenteerd, met prachtige stemmen die het publiek weten te raken.”
