Oliver Future Releases New Single 'Flattened' from 'A Year At Home' Album

Los Angeles-via-Austin band Oliver Future will return with their first new record in 14 years, A Year at Home, via Peak Dumb Recordings. The album was recorded remotely in studios in Austin and Los Angeles during the lockdown of 2020-2021. Today the band is sharing 'Flattened,' the latest single to be lifted from their forthcoming release.

Porning the Planet challenges our notion of how pornography has altered our social communication. Based on five years of  real life interviews with adult stars, Raquel Almazan returns to Dixon Place October 14th for a one-night-only performance of her solo show. A dark comedy developed in collaboration with Penny Arcade, this electric one hour journey melds Japanese Butoh dance and narrative performance through a multimedia experience to explore how our virtual world interacts with our "real world."

Bay Street Theatre's new educational program, LITERATURE LIVE!, kicked off with THE DIARY OF Anne Frank, playing now through November 21. The show runs weekdays at various times (to accommodate school groups) and Saturday evenings at 7pm. All shows are open to the public, as well as to groups from schools, churches and synagogues. Tickets are $10 and $15.
