Born in Westchester NY, Samantha Kahn has been performing since a very young age. Samantha graduated from Franklin & Marshall College with a business and vocal performance degree where she studied under American soprano Gwynne Geyer, and solo'd in her junior and senior year with The Lancaster Symphony Orchestra. Kahn began her professional career with the title role of The Vixen in "The Cunning Little Vixen" at Manhattan School of Music's Summer Voice Festival. Other NY credits include the world premiere of "The Bonfire of The Vanities opera" with Process Studio Theatre, which performed at El Museo del Barrio. Also, "Furniture the musical " (Floor) at Midtown International Theatre Festival, and most recently "Siren's Den" (Jessie) at The Elektra Theatre with The New York New Work Festival. Regional work includes "American Idiot" (Heather) at Irvington Town Hall Theatre and "The Walking Dead Experience" (Kali) with Skybound Entertainment and directed by Michael Counts. Kahn was also heard singing The National Anthem for The Brooklyn Nets NBA at The Barclay's Center. Kahn also co-wrote, produced and acted in a short horror comedy play called "The Devil Tree" which premiered Off Broadway at The Players Theatre in 2015 and won "Best Play of The Week" in the theatre's festival. It returned in 2016 to Manhattan Repertory Theatre where it was a finalist. Kahn was also recently featured as a skyn ICELAND skincare model for a video series for ULTA Beauty. She was also a lead model for a promotional campaign for New York Water Taxi. Samantha coaches with Tony Award Winner and Grammy Nominated composer Steven Lutvak and also studies in Tony Award Winner Craig Carnelia's musical theatre studio. Coming up, Samantha will playing the role of 'Violet 5cream' in the new media television series, Dry Time, anticipated for release on your favorite streaming service in 2017.
