Pearl Cleage’s Blues for an Alabama Sky, directed by Candis C. Jones (The Public Theater: shadow/land; Studio Theater: Clyde’s) is currently running at Barrington Stage Company. Review: BLUES FOR AN ALABAMA SKY at Barrington Stage Company
While I won’t go so far as to say this is a must-see, it is most certainly one that should be seen. BLUES FOR AN ALABAMA SKY represents yet another first-rate production for the award-winning theatre in downtown Pittsfield and those involved in bringing it forward for Berkshire arts enthusiasts to enjoy.

Inspired by the real-life Newsboys Strike of 1899 in New York City. Charismatic Newsie, Jack Kelly rallies newsies from across New York City to strike against the powerful newspaper publisher, Joseph Pulitzer when he raises the price of newspapers at the newsies' expense. Together the newsies learn that they are stronger united and fight for what's right. Newsies Jr. is a fun show for the entire family and features a Tony Award-winning score by Alan Menken and Jack Feldman and a book by Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein.
FOR TONIGHT, A New Musical Will Make Its London Cabaret Debut
Paper House Productions, a London based theatre production company, is excited to announce SPOTLIGHT ON NEW MUSICALS live at The Union Theatre in London on 23rd January 2022. It will feature the original new bilingual musical FOR TONIGHT, with a cast of “The Stars of Tomorrow”.

Otherworld Theatre, Chicago's premier Science Fiction and Fantasy theatre's 2nd annual Genre-Thon comedy festival has been postponed.
