This spring, celebrating its 40th anniversary as an artist residency program, Ucross welcomed 55 visual artists, writers, composers, choreographers and interdisciplinary artists from across North America to its historic 20,000-acre ranch in the foothills of the Bighorn Mountains in northern Wyoming.

Ucross's spring session is in full swing. From February 7 through June 3, 56 artists from a variety of disciplines will be in residence at the historic 20,000-acre ranch in the foothills of the Bighorn Mountains in northern Wyoming.
Abrons Arts Center Presents Mariangela Lopez's RAPHAEL
Abrons Arts Center presents the world premiere of RAPHAEL, the third evening-length work by choreographer Mariangela Lopez, on May 2 -5 at 8pm. Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Lopez has built an expressive body of work with unique collaborators, from untrained dancers to Karen O from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. For RAPHAEL, she is joined by performers Laurel Atwell, Anna Azrieli, and Mor Mendel, along with composer Jason Grisell who performs live - RAPHAEL marks their third collaboration.
Johanna Kotze Premieres New Work With Netta Yerushalmy at New York Live Arts
New York Live Arts presents the world premiere of Bessie Award winner Joanna Kotze's What will we be like when we get there, a new interdisciplinary dance performance with long-time collaborators dancer/choreographer Netta Yerushalmy, visual artist Jonathan Allen, and composer/musician Ryan Seaton. What will we be like when we get there will premiere at New York Live Arts March 28-31, 2018, 7:30 PM. In conjunction with the performance, an exhibition, Knowing that your House is on Fire in the lobby of New York Live Arts, will feature new works by visual artist, Jonathan Allen. New York Wine Events is pleased to announce its schedule of New York City fall wine festivals featuring two distinct November events. On Saturday, November 11, Cadillac presents the 4th Annual Brooklyn Crush Wine & Artisanal Food Festival: Fall Edition at Industry City in Sunset Park Brooklyn. On Saturday, November 18, Citi presents the 5th Annual NYC Autumn Wine Festival at NYY Steak in midtown Manhattan. Both events are curated by Vintry Fine Wines and offer a choice of two tasting sessions: Afternoon: 2-5pm or Evening: 7-10pm along with a premium early admission ticket enabling guests to enter an hour prior to the start of the general sessions.

Asian World Film Festival Announces 2017 Opening and Closing Night Films
The Third Annual Asian World Film Festival (AWFF) has selected Turkey's official 2018 Oscar entry, Ayla: The Daughter of War as the Festivals opening night film on October 25. Filmed in South Korea, Ayla: The Daughter of War tells a touching story of an orphan girl and a Turkish soldier set during the Korean War.
