Once more catering to a less-than-traditional holiday crowd, the Pear celebrates the holidays with The Millionth Production of a Christmas Carol written and directed by James Kopp. This original comedy about the struggle to create art and still pay the bills previews onNovember 30, with press and Opening Night on Friday, December 1, followed by a champagne gala. The show runs Thursdays through Sundays through December 17. All performances are held at the Pear Theatre, 1110 La Avenida St., Mountain View. Beloved Stage and Screen Actor Sam Kelly Passes Away at 70
Sam Kelly was born in Manchester in 1943. Throughout his acting career, Kelly appeared in films, television, radio, and theatre. According to BBC News, Kelly passed away this morning after being admitted to a hospice. His agent, Lynda Ronan, confirmed his passing saying that he 'bravely fought' against his illness and that he died peacefully. He was 70.

Casting Complete for Menier Chocolate Factory's CHARLEY’S AUNT
Full casting is now complete for the Menier Chocolate Factory production of Brandon Thomas' comedy classic Charley's Aunt, directed by Ian Talbot and starring Mathew Horne, Jane Asher, Norman Pace and Steven Pacey. Although previously confirmed in the cast, Sam Kelly has had to withdraw from the production and is replaced by Charles Kay.
