The Wallis presents the Los Angeles premiere of Wise Children’s Wuthering Heights, opening January 11, 2023. Emma Rice directs her own adaptation of Emily Bronte’s classic. This engagement is a National Theatre, Wise Children, Bristol Old Vic and York Theatre Royal Co-Production in Association with Berkeley Repertory Theatre. Wise Children Announces Cast For the USA Première of Emma Rice's WUTHERING HEIGHTS
The co-production with the National Theatre, Bristol Old Vic and York Theatre Royal, in association with Berkeley Repertory Theater, makes its US première at St Ann's Warehouse, New York, on 14 October, before touring to Berkeley Repertory Theater, the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts and Chicago Shakespeare Theater, with more dates to be announced.
Liam Tamne Joins WUTHERING HEIGHTS UK Tour
Wise Children today announce that Liam Tamne joins the company as Heathcliff for the world première production of Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights on 15 March, completing the run at the National ahead of the UK tour. Adapted and directed by Emma Rice, the show is a co-production with the National Theatre, Bristol Old Vic and York Theatre Royal.

“I am Heathcliff – he’s always, always in my mind.” Wise Children’s latest production – an ambitious adaptation of Emily Bronte’s Wuthering Heights – has finally made its way to the National Theatre, following COVID delays and a rearranged tour, starting at the Bristol Old Vic last year. Catherine and Heathcliff will make themselves at home in the Lyttelton Theatre for the next few weeks before heading back out on the road.
