The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey closes its 53rd season with THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR by William Shakespeare, directed by Artistic Director Bonnie J. Monte. Performances began Wednesday, December 2nd and continue through Sunday, December 27th at the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre, 36 Madison Avenue (at Lancaster Road) in Madison. The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey is thrilled to present a world premiere adaptation of Ferenc Molnar's The Guardsman - translated from the original Hungarian by Molnar's great grandson Gabor Lukin and adapted and directed by Artistic Director Bonnie J. Monte. Performances begin Wednesday, July 8th and continue through Sunday, July 26th at the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre, 36 Madison Avenue (at Lancaster Road) in Madison. Over the same weekend in April, London-based Equilibrium Theatre will produce five new American plays in London and NLTP will produce five new British plays in Midtown. The theme? English/American relations and what we actually think about each other. Is the relationship sustained? Does it need a little work?

Directed by Gordon Edelstein, the production stars Patch Darragh (Tom Wingfield), two-time Tony® Award winner Judith Ivey (Amanda Wingfield), Keira Keeley (Laura Wingfield), and Michael Mosley (Jim O'Connor).
