The Alliance Theatre has announced the cast of its upcoming regional premiere of ENGLISH. Winner of the 2023 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, The Alliance’s production will be directed by Iranian theatre & film director, choreographer, and writer, Shadi Ghaheri, who is now based in New York City.

This January, Pipeline Theatre Company presents seven never before seen plays written by its PlayLab Class of 2016 in this year's Matchstick Series: Strange Tongues at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe (236 E. 3rd St, New York, NY). This year's PlayLab includes: Matthew Barbot, Jen Browne, Gina Femia, Reina Hardy, Jacob Marx Rice, Callan Stout, and Amy E. Witting. Performances will be January 13-15th at 7PM. The production, directed by Chad Lindsey (The Summoners with Hook & Eye) will run November 4-21 at The Actors Fund Arts Center @ The Schermerhorn (160 Schermerhorn Street between Hoyt and Smith Streets, Brooklyn). Performances will be Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7pm and Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm with matinee performances on November 7, 8, & 15, and an additional performance on Monday, November 16 at 7pm.
