BIO
SLee, born Savannah-Lee Mumford is an actor/singer/podcaster from Mount Airy, North Carolina. She attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and received BFA in Drama in 2016 and Northern Illinois University and received her MFA in Acting in 2022. SLee is best known for her award-winning portrayal of Barb Holland in the Off-Broadway hit, Stranger Sings!: The Parody Musical. SLee is also co-creator and co-host of "This Podcast Won't Run a Week," a bi-weekly musical theatre podcast with childhood best friend, Katlyn "Kat" Shaw (find anywhere you listen to podcasts). Other credits of SLee's include, Stranger Sings!: The Parody Musical at 54 Below (starring Christina Bianco), PITS: An Unauthorized Holes Parody Musical (Sigourney Weaver); Workshops/Readings: Stranger Sings!: The Parody Musical, Raymie Nightengale (with Michelle Pawk), Paris Through the Window, The Tourist Trap; Regional: Into The Woods (Stepmother / Witch U/s) at Charlottesville Opera, Rock of Ages (Sherrie Christian - BroadwayWorld Nomination) at Actors Theatre of Charlotte, Shrek: the Musical (Fiona U/s), Les Miserables (Ensemble), Crazy For You (Bobby's Girls), and Chicago (Ensemble) at Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre.
