Two hundred performances down and the Factory is still open for business! The new Broadway musical Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory officially opened Sunday, April 23, 2017 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street). Just yesterday, the company was joined by their new neighbors at BOND 45, to commemorate 200 performances on Broadway with a mountain of chocolate mousse fit for the Factory. Broadway Sessions had a very sweet season premiere this last week as we welcomed cast members from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We danced Oompa Loompa-style, enjoyed heartfelt performances, and watched a couple 11 year old boys SING THEIR FACES OFF. Jackie Hoffman was unable to attend, but never fear- the cast celebrated her through dramatic readings of some of her finer TWEETS! Enjoy these performances by legendary John Rubinstein, Emma Plaeffle, Cory Lingner, Elliot Mattox, Ryan Sell, Jake Flynn and our sensational diva "Rising Stars" Nikisha Williams (bound for The Color Purple tour) and Brittany Dorazio.

Arts on the Horizon Sets 2016-17 Season of Theatre for the Very Young
Arts on the Horizon, an interactive theatre for children ages zero to six, is excited to announce its 2016 -2017 season. As the first theatre company in the United States to stage completely non-verbal performances for young audiences, Arts on the Horizon shows are performed solely with sound, movement and live music to engage children at any stage of language development and also children whose first language may not be English.
Stars of 'CHOCOLATE FACTORY' and BANDSTAND Set for 'Broadway in the Boros' Series Today
Today, July 28 at 12:00 Noon at Staten Island's Borough Hall Plaza, the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME) will present the third event of the 2017 season of 'Broadway in the Boros,' a series of free musical performances featuring stars from some of Broadway's biggest shows. This performance will feature a showcase of vignettes performed by members of the current casts and orchestras from hit musicals Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Bandstand.
