Royal Court Reveals Additional Two Associate Playwrights
Following an extensive national open call-out, the Royal Court Theatre has today announced that Ishy Din (Approaching Empty) and Beth Flintoff (Henry I) will complete the team of Associate Playwrights at the Royal Court, announced earlier this year.
Cast Set For DIZZY By Mohamed-Zain Dada at Sheffield Theatres
A co-production from Theatre Centre and Sheffield Theatres, DIZZY is written by Olivier-nominated Mohamed-Zain Dada (Blue Mist, Royal Court) and directed by Artistic Director of Theatre Centre Rob Watt (Wish You Weren't Here, Sheffield Theatres).
Royal Court Reveals New Associate Playwrights
David Byrne, Artistic Director of the Royal Court, has announced that Mike Bartlett (Love, Love, Love), Ryan Calais Cameron (For Black Boys Who Have Considered Suicide When the Hue Gets Too Heavy), Vinay Patel (An Adventure) and Nina Segal (Shooting Hedda Gabler) will join the Royal Court as Associate Playwrights, alongside Gillian Greer (Boy Parts) as Associate Playwright and Dramaturg who joined the organisation earlier in this year.
Video: NEXT TO NORMAL Cast Performs a Medley at the 2024 Olivier Awards
Last night, the 2024 Olivier Awards were held at the Royal Albert Hall, hosted by Hannah Waddingham. Among the performances was one from the West End cast of Next to Normal, who took the stage to perform a medley of songs from the show. The medley included 'I Miss the Mountains', 'Superboy and The Invisible Girl' and 'I'm Alive'. Watch the video here!
