BIO

Ryan was born and raised in the Berkshires, where he got his start as a child opera singer at the famed Tanglewood Music Festival.

He has appeared Off-Broadway and Regionally, on Network Television and in Film (most recently in the the upcoming “All Those Sunflowers”, directed by Golden Calf Winner, Bram Schouw). He received the NYFringe Excellence in Performance award for the role of Ben in In The Summer Pavilion, which he continued to play in the subsequent production at 59E59 and in the Independent Feature Film version produced by Streetwise Pictures (“Blue Caprice”). On the Stages of some of New York's Off-Broadway stables to it’s Downtown Legends, Ryan has had the opportunity to work with some incredible artists, including the Tony Award winning B.H. Barry (Treasure Island) and Gabby Hoffman of “Girls” (whom he played opposite in The Last Seder at The Mint).

Regionally, Ryan's extensive credits include The Long Wharf (with Sam Waterston and Tom Hewitt in Travesties), Arkansas Rep in Clybourne Park, Merrimack Rep in Red (which earned him a WISE award for his portrayal of Ken) and many other productions.

Internationally, he appeared in the gritty New York based piece Role Play, at Dublin's Players Theatre.

On Television he has worked opposite Mark Wahlberg on “Blue Bloods” and plays the wayward underling of Jeremy Shamos in “Unforgettable” on CBS.

In the VO world, he is the voice of several major National and International brands.

Three Rooms Press presents a one night only event: PUNK ALL-STARS, the NYC book launch for "PUNK AVENUE: Inside the New York City Underground 1972-1982," a memoir by NYC punk scene insider Phil Marcade.
