The Luther Burbank Memorial Foundation, the non-profit organization that owns and operates Luther Burbank Center for the Arts (LBC), has completed its $11.4M multi-phase Bridge to the Future renovation project, resulting in major physical upgrades to the 44-year-old facility that improves the patron experience and increases its accessibility, safety, and security.
Luther Burbank Center For The Arts Receives $1 Million Gift From Joan And Mack Schwing
The Luther Burbank Memorial Foundation, the non-profit organization that owns and operates Luther Burbank Center for the Arts (LBC), today announced a $1 million commitment from Joan and Mack Schwing-long-time LBC supporters-for the multi-phase Bridge to the Future renovation project. Their gift completes the $11.5 million needed and is well-timed as the scope of upgrades and improvements nears completion. LBC will recognize this generous donation from the Schwings by renaming the Fireside Room, an intimate 1,525 square foot venue used for small gatherings, the Joan and Mack Schwing Salon.

Today, Luther Burbank Center for the Arts (LBC) and the Santa Rosa Symphony announced the lineup for the 2019-20 Carlton Senior Living Symphony Pops Series, to be presented in the Ruth Finley Person Theater at Luther Burbank Center for the Arts (50 Mark West Springs Road in Santa Rosa). Now in its 15th year, the Sunday afternoon concert series introduces audiences to the great depth and range of sounds of the Santa Rosa Symphony and acclaimed soloists, through the music of legendary icons, famous film scores, and more. Led by the Santa Rosa Symphony's Principal Pops Conductor Michael Berkowitz, the 2019-20 season kicks-off with Symphonic Sinatra! on Sunday, October 13, 2019. The series will ring in the holiday season on Sunday, December 15, 2019 with Holly Jolly Pops, featuring festive carols and contemporary favorites.

Today, Luther Burbank Center for the Arts (LBC) and the Santa Rosa Symphony announced the rescheduled performance date for What a Wonderful World: A Tribute to Louis Armstrong as Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 3 p.m. The 2017 2018 Symphony Pops series will now kick-off with A Holly Jolly Pops on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at 3 p.m. Tickets for the concert originally scheduled on October 22, 2017 of What a Wonderful World will be honored at the rescheduled performance.
