HFH Productions and Bethany Cooper Productions have announced the cast for Gabriella Foley’s Flicker. Zoë Templeman-Young directs Gabriella Foley, Kasper Hilton-Hille and Olivia Michi Shrenzel. The creative team is completed by Sound Designer Beth Lewis.

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, The Ringwald Theatre takes its annual Gay Arts Festival, Gay4Detroit, to the streaming world. This move will allow The Ringwald to keep creating content for its audiences and will allow the theatre to maintain a revenue stream during these unprecedented times.
Ringwald Call For Submissions For 2020 Gay4Detroit Festival
The Ringwald Theatre is sounding a call for new, original one-act plays to be performed at their annual Gay4Detroit Festival (previously the GPS Festival) in September 2020. The Detroit-area's only LGBTQ+ short play festival is striving to provide early-career writers the opportunity to see their work produced, giving them what is oft-needed exposure.
The Ally Coalition Announces Giving Tuesday Campaign
The Ally Coalition has announced a two end of the year ways to give back, with a Giving Tuesday campaign supporting LAMBDA Legal [details here] and a Holiday Auction supporting nonprofits such as New Alternatives, Ruth Ellis Center, One N Ten, Safe Place For Youth, Sacramento LGBT Center, Transgender Law Center, Black LGBTQIA+, Youthcare Washington, amongst others, kicking off tomorrow and running through December 12. The holiday auction will include Ally Coalition memorabilia from past tours, events and prior Talent Shows - check out here.
Sufjan Stevens to Release Score for Justin Peck's Ballet 'The Decalogue'
Oscar- and Grammy-nominated composer, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Sufjan Stevens will release his acclaimed score for Justin Peck's ballet The Decalogue October 18 via his own label, AKR. Performed by the pianist Timo Andres, the recording is the first time the score, premiered during the New York City Ballet's 2017 season, is available to the public.
The Ringwald Presents GAY4DETROIT Play Series
After 11 years, The Ringwald has retooled their annual Gay Play Series (GPS) into Gay4Detroit, a new all-inclusive gay arts celebration! Gay4Detroit's premiere weekend events will all perform at The Ringwald Theatre June 28-July 1, 2019. Aside from the four nightly events, Gay4Detroit will also feature lobby artwork from some of the area's hottest artists!
RARE BIRDS to Receive Workshop Production
North East poet Natalie Scott has been awarded Arts Council funding to develop her collection of dramatic monologues RARE BIRDS - VOICES OF HOLLOWAY PRISON for the stage. Scott will workshop the piece with director Simon Greiff, and a team of award-winning composers and West End actors, culminating in a special showcase sharing at Soho Theatre on 17th May.
The Ally Coalition Presents THE 5TH ANNUAL TALENT SHOW
On December 5 Town Hall will host The Ally Coalition's Fifth Annual Talent Show, a night that channels the power of music and comedy toward equality. The evening will benefit organizations serving queer and trans youth, including New Alternatives for LGBTQ Youth in New York City. This year's event will feature performances from musicians Andrew Dost, Bleachers, Hayley Kiyoko, Lana Del Rey, Mitski, Regina Spektor, Rostam, with comedians Jacqueline Novak and Sasheer Zamata - more special guests to be announced in the coming weeks. Ticketmaster and Spotify Ticket Pre-sales are live today, with tickets on sale to the general public Wednesday, November 7 at 1pm ET.

Kicking off on National Coming Out Day, Live Out Fest is a tribute to the healing, liberating, revolutionary power of art to the LGBTQ+ community. Live Out seeks to bring the local community together from all corners of metro Detroit to celebrate and connect with one another through our collective commitment to stand in truth and consciously live out our most beautiful, authentic, queer selves - expressed through the creation and integration of art in all its forms. The festival features dance, music, spoken-word poetry, performance art, comedy, burlesque, and more from local artists and creatives in the LGBTQ+ community.

With Sinners Club, we collaborated with co-producers The Other Room in Cardiff and Theatr Clwyd in Mold to push that gig-theatre form to its limits, trying to do away with a relentless focus on narrative and make the songs work on their own.
