Russell McCook is a New York City-based actor, musician, and producer. Originally from Tyler, Texas, he received his Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre from Oklahoma City University.
Recently, Russell made his Off-Broadway debut in Kati Schwartz’s Bad People, at Dixon Place. Previous credits include My Fair Lady & Les Misérables (The Muny), Bernice Bobs Her Hair, Big Fish, A Little Night Music, & Les Misérables (Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma), Once & A Little Night Music (Theatre Three), and Little Women & Almost, Maine (Southern Colorado Repertory Theatre).
He has been studying cello for 17 years, and has had the opportunity to perform cello onstage as both Henrik in A Little Night Music and Andrej in Once.
Russell made his producing debut in 2019 with 54 Sings Miley Cyrus (feat. Be More Chill’s Lauren Marcus, The Prom’s Isabelle McCalla, and Jagged Little Pill’s Celia Gooding) as a benefit for the Happy Hippie Foundation.
