TAO and Ippudo restaurant partnered to create a 'DRUM HEART' bowl in honor of TAO's New York City debut at NYU Skirball from Thursday, February 11 through Sunday, February 14. To celebrate TAO: DRUM HEART, Ippudo was inspired to create the Drum Heart bowl, which consists of black sesame spicy pork soup served with pork belly chasu, spicy miso paste, crispy onion chips, cabbage, cilantro, and lime, finished at the table with Rayu spicy sesame oil.

?From the creative team behind the four-time Tony Award-nominated revival of Pacific Overtures comes the New York debut of TAO: DRUM HEART. The new production will play a strictly limited engagement at NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts from Thursday, February 11, 2016 through Sunday, February 14, 2016 before TAO continues its fourth North American tour.

UK's Telegraph reports that the current West End production of THE FANTASTICKS, currently playing at the Duchess Theatre, will close months earlier than it intended, on June 26. According to the report, the cast was informed of the closing notice on Friday, two days after the June 9 opening night.

Complicite Presents 'Shun-kin' January 30, 2009
On January 30, 2009, Complicite will present the European premiere of its latest devised work, 'Shun-kin.' Inspired by two texts by Jun'ichiro Tanizaki, 'A Portrait of Shunkin' and 'In Praise of Shadows,' this sensual devised production explores the many shades of darkness and light in human relationships. 'Shun-kin' will run from January 30 to February 21, 2009 at the Barbican Theatre in London. Tickets are currently on sale for Barbican members and will go on sale for the general public October 10. New Frank Wildhorn Musical Premieres in Japan
The Japanese premiere of RUDOLF: THE LAST KISS, a musical composed by Frank Wildhorn, written by Jack Murphy, directed by Amon Miyamoto and produced by Toho. Co., Ltd. opened to an enthusiastic audience at the prestigious Imperial Theatre on Wednesday, May 6 in Tokyo.
