Final Season of Showtime's NURSE JACKIE Premieres Tonight
This spring, SHOWTIME will bid farewell to one of its signature series with the premiere of NURSE JACKIE's final season tonight, April 12th at 9 P.M. ET/PT, followed by the highly-anticipated second season of the hit drama series PENNY DREADFUL on Sunday, April 26th at 10 P.M. ET/PT.
Mark Feuerstein Joins Cast of Showtime's NURSE JACKIE
Acclaimed film, television and stage actor Mark Feuerstein (Royal Pains) is signing on as a recurring guest star in six episodes of NURSE JACKIE, the original Showtime comedy series starring Edie Falco as a flawed emergency room nurse. Feuerstein will play Barry Wolfe, a high-powered, cutthroat lawyer who will represent Jackie as she pieces her life back together following her arrest last season. He joins recently announced recurring guest star Tony Shalhoub in the series' seventh and final season, which is currently in production in New York.
Brian d'Arcy James Joins Boston Priest Pedophile Drama SPOTLIGHT
Deadline writes that Brian d'Arcy James has joined the cast of Open Road's SPOTLIGHT, directed by Tom McCarthy. James will star alongside Mark Ruffalo, Michael Keaton, Aaron Eckhart, Liev Schreiber, Rachel McAdams and Stanley Tucci in the film, which centers on the Boston Globe's real-life investigation into pedophile priests in the Catholic Church.
Showtime's NURSE JACKIE to End Run Following Seventh Season
After six award-winning and critically-acclaimed seasons, NURSE JACKIE, the Showtime hit comedy starring the extraordinary Edie Falco, will begin production this week on its seventh and final season, it was announced today by David Nevins, President, Showtime Networks Inc.
Tony Shalhoub Joins Showtime's NURSE JACKIE
Emmy Award-winner Tony Shalhoub (Monk) joins Emmy-winning actress Edie Falco in NURSE JACKIE, the SHOWTIME comedy about a flawed emergency room nurse. Shalhoub stars in a recurring role as Dr. Bernard Prince, a new ER doctor who has a great bedside manner, a special touch with his boss, Gloria Akalitus (Anna Deavere Smith), and who offers Jackie something she desperately needs - a friend.
Showtime to Kick Off Free Preview Weekend on 5/9
SHOWTIME will be available to 74 million households during a Free Preview Weekend this Friday, May 9 through Sunday, May 11. Viewers nationwide will be able to sample the network's award-winning programming on SHOWTIME, SHOWTIME On Demand(R), SHOWTIME ANYTIME(R) and on a number of participating distributors' TV Everywhere portals. Today, SHOWTIME announced premiere dates for a number of its highly-anticipated new and returning programs this Spring. Beginning Sunday, April 13, the sweeping docu-series YEARS OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY makes its debut in time for Earth Day at 10 p.m., immediately following the season six premiere of NURSE JACKIE, starring Edie Falco, at 9 p.m. and the seventh and final season of CALIFORNICATION, starring David Duchovny, at 9:30 p.m. SHOWTIME's new series PENNY DREADFUL, the psychological thriller starring Eva Green and Josh Hartnett, premieres on Sunday, May 11 at 10 p.m.

LIONSGATE's acclaimed AMC drama MAD MEN and hit Showtime comedy NURSE JACKIE earned a total of 22 Emmy(R) nominations today, including a fifth consecutive drama series nomination for MAD MEN, which made history last year with its fourth consecutive win tying the all-time Emmy(R) record in the category, and a third consecutive comedy nomination for four-time Emmy(R) winner Edie Falco, who won the Lead Actress trophy for her role in the first season of NURSE JACKIE.

Joel Grey & Aida Turturro to Guest Star on NURSE JACKIE
Award-winning actors Aida Turturro and Joel Grey will each guest star on one episode of the upcoming season of NURSE JACKIE. This will mark a reunion for series star Edie Falco and Turturro as both starred together on the long-running hit drama series The Sopranos. Production on season four of NURSE JACKIE is currently underway in New York for a 2012 premiere. The two stars join the recently announced Rosie Perez and Bobby Cannavale as season four guest stars.
