BWW Review: Company XIV's QUEEN OF HEARTS Brings Extra Sizzle To New York's Summer
It's doubtful one will find a more romantic, nor a sexier theatergoing experience within the five boroughs this summer than seated close to someone special in one of Theatre XIV's cozy champagne couches when nearly directly above you, aerialists Marcy Richardson and Nolan McKew are performing a sensuous display of glistening muscles and elegant eroticism while maneuvering their nearly nude bodies in a variety of tableaus while hanging from a crown-shaped chandelier.

Due to popular demand, Company XIV's world premiere production of Queen of Hearts has announced an extension and tickets are now available through August 18th. The show opened on April 11th and plays at Theatre XIV (383 Troutman Street, Bushwick, Brooklyn).

Company XIV, which recently presented their acclaimed sold out engagement of Nutcracker Rouge, announces their next production, the world-premiere of Queen of Hearts which will begin performances on Thursday, March 29th with an opening night set for Thursday, April 11th. Previews begin Friday, November 9. The engagement will run through January 13th.

I recently caught Mr. McCormick's premiere of 'Cinderella' and was fascinated by his work. It was the first time I'd seen one of his productions and was entranced by his unique storytelling through dance and much more! From the clever and outrageous costumes right down to the atmospheric setting throughout the theatre space, it's all one delicious artistic confection. I asked Mr. McCormick about his upcoming revival of NUTCRACKER ROUGE.
