Ron Navarre

Ron NaVarre has worked professionally as an actor, dancer, singer, director, choreographer and teacher for over thirty years. He has worked on Broadway, (A Chorus Line, Shogun: The Musical), Off-Broadway, Film, Television, Commercials, Print, Industrials, Night Clubs and Radio.

Choreographic credits include: Dancing at Laughnasa (Missouri Rep ), Tapestry- The Music of Carol King (Off-Broadway), A Midsummer Nights Dream, (Fordham U). Fight Direction for; Brigadoon (Westchester Broadway Theater), and Coriolanus (Theater Row), TV; This Weeks Music, The Morning Show, (ABC) Feature Film, Metropolitan. Ron had Directed Industrials for IBM, Nintendo, Fischer Price, Mattel, Champion Sports and many others. Ron is a former adjunct professor in the theater Department of Fordham University at Lincoln Center and the Pacific Institute of Oriental Medicine. He is currently teaching Tai Chi for actors as a field instructor for New York University and The Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute.

Master teacher, martial artist, energetic healer and founder of Stress Defense Inc. has over thirty years of Martial Art training in the disciplines of Moo Duk Kwan Tang Soo Do, Chung Do Kwan Tae Kwan Do, Hapkido, Aikido and Tai Chi Chuan. In the Healing Arts Ron has over 20 years of practice in Shiatsu and Tui Na massage, Chi Qong, Yoga, Reiki and Meditation. Ron is a former adjunct professor at The Pacific Institute of Oriental Medicine and Fordham University at Lincoln Center. He is currently teaching through the Lee Straberg Theater and Film Institute and for New York University.

Ron has taught STRESS DEFENSE ® seminars for Prudential Securities, Columbia University, Origins Cosmetics, The Smithers Center for Alcoholism, The Pacific Institute of Oriental Medicine, The Dorot Center for senior citizens, The Regent Hospital Drug Rehabilitation Division, The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, The Mattel Corporation, Bally’s Total Fitness and The New York Real-Estate Association in Manhattan. Ron has been featured on the Discovery Channel, Fox Five News, Free Spirit Magazines Health and Fitness Forum, Sirius Radio, Sage Networks and Attitude Magazine.
