Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella opens at the Grant Fine Arts Center this week, bringing back Lion Heart Productions’ first large-cast musical since Mamma Mia! In 2019. The show is running 2 weekends, through November 12th, and is the new Broadway adaptation of the classic musical. This contemporary take on the classic tale features Rodgers & Hammerstein's most beloved songs, including “In My Own Little Corner,” “Impossible/It's Possible” and “Ten Minutes Ago”. Centaur Theatre opens its 49th season with Playing With Fire: The Theo Fleury Story, an epic, reckless, and inspirational tale based on the life of one of Canada's most outstanding hockey players, running October 3 to 29, 2017. Brown/Trinity Rep to Present MUD and A MAP OF VIRTUE in Rep

The 18th annual Pell Awards event was held on Monday, June 9, 2014 at Trinity Rep followed by a reception at the Providence Public Library.
