BWW Reviews: This Lady Really Sings the Blues - Lauren Robert Rocks the Iridium
by Stephen Hanks - Aug 9, 2012
It was a soulful force of nature that shook the music memorabilia on the walls of the Iridium on the night of August 7. by Stephen Sorokoff - Jan 6, 2012
FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY opened its Winter 2012 season with the return of Lucie Arnaz in a show based on her new CD 'Latin Roots.' In an eclectic celebration of her musical heritage, Arnaz playfully wended her way through pop south of the border sounds, enduring American standards, enhanced with a Brazilian accent or basted by a Bossa Nova beat and she took on some of the fiery Latin classics of her father, Desi Arnaz.

by Stephen Sorokoff - Jun 21, 2011
Ron Abel played himself (as opposed to playing himself on Fran Dreschers new TV Show Happily Divorced) last night in his capacity as pianist/arranger/musical director for LUCIE ARNAZ in an exciting performance of her show 'My Latin Roots' at Barrington Stage Company in Pittsfield, Ma.
Based upon the enthusiastic reception and standing ovations Lucie received, one would have thought her Roots were in Pittsfield Ma. The audiences at Barrington Stage are accustomed to seeing preeminent performances. Artistic Director Julianne Boyd once again selected a remarkable performer in a marvelously constructed Cabaret Show to entertain Barrington's Main Stage Berkshire audience.
