Roger Ricker has been working with Artistic Director Jesse Cline and Executive Director Patrick Ward since 1991, and at The Media Theatre since the first performance of "My Fair Lady" in 1994.
He has been seen in over 100 productions at The Media Theatre including the 2015-16 season’s Gypsy, as well as in Annie, Jekyll and Hyde, Show Boat, and Jesus Christ Superstar. Youth productions he has directed include Jack Frost Saves Christmas, Tale of Beauty and the Beast, Annie Jr., Magic Tree House, Aladdin Jr., Wizard of Oz Youth Edition, and Pinkalicious.
Two of his own productions were produced here: Hansel and Gretel: Into the Night, and The Magic Apple.
He is the Director of PR/ Company Manager for the professional music theatre company, as well as his involvement with its educational programs for youth (Summer Camp Manager, Youth Acting Instruction, Children’s Show Director). He instructs the State Street Miracles, a performance troupe of adults with developmental disabilities.
In 2004 he performed The National Anthem for the President of The United States. He is a former member of the Rotary Club of Media and Press Club of Delaware County, as well as Media Business Authority. He remains actively involved in borough and community events.
He has headlined several summer fundraising concerts at The Media Theatre.
