After spending the year "bringing down the house" in Chicago (Variety) and being a "glorious, full-blooded voice" in Giant at the Public Theater (Wall Street Journal), KT sets her sights on Christmas, with a night of carols re-written, standards re-imagined, and New York's finest, funniest voices. Having penned three albums and two-and-a-half musicals, this "rich-voiced powerhouse" (Los Angeles Times) promises to "put the mayhem back in Bethlehem" (Katie Thompson) at 54 Below. Also starring Erin Quill (Avenue Q, The Mikado Project) and Joel Waggoner (Southern Comfort). Directed by Adam Jackman (R.R.R.E.D a Secret Musical, Homo The Musical). The Public Theater announced today that Tituss Burgess, John Ellison Conlee, Lili Cooper, Matt Doyle, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Greg Hildreth, Eli James, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Justin Levine, Norm Lewis, Betsy Morgan, Jessica Phillips, Bobby Steggert, and Katie Thompson will join the star-studded PUBLIC SINGS! benefit on Monday, March 5 at Joe's Pub. ALICE: A NEW MUSICAL Opens Wednesday, July 20
ALICE: A NEW MUSICAL, with book, music and lyrics by Andrew Barbato and Lesley DeSantis, will be presented as part of the 2011 Midtown International Theatre Festival. Performances will be July 20th at 8:00pm, July 23rd at 8:30pm, July 24th at 1:30pm and July 30th at 11:00am, at the June Havoc Theatre (part of the Abingdon Theatre Complex at 312 W 36th St). Tickets are $18 for adults, $15 for students and seniors.
