FRIGID New York @ Horse Trade in association with Elephant Run District will present the World Premiere of Chris Harcum's Martin Denton, Martin Denton, directed by Aimee Todoroff, July 6-23 at The Kraine Theater (85 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery) with performances Today through Saturday at 7pm and Sundays at 2pm. Tickets ($25/$20 students & seniors) may be purchased in advance at www.horseTRADE.info. The performance will run approximately 90 minutes, with no intermission.

New York Innovative Theatre Foundation Announces 2014 IT Awards Nominees
On Monday, July 21, 2014, The New York Innovative Theatre Foundation, the organization who for the past 10 years has been dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, announced the 2014 nominees at its annual event. Celebrating ten years and thousands of nominees, the IT PARTY took place at XL Night Club, 512 West 42nd Street.
Rising Sun Performance Company's DONKEY Receives 3 Publishing Agreements; Runs 5/18-6/8
Rising Sun Performance Company's Founding Artistic Director announced today that their upcoming production of 'Donkey' by John Patrick Bray is slated to be published and licensed with Next Stage Press. This is will be Bray's third publishing with Next Stage Press, Bray's other plays available for licensing with Next Stage Press include Hound and Liner Notes, which were also produced at the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity (2009, 2010); Trickster at the Gate, and short plays in 64 Squares and Game Night. Donkey will be available for licensing in late June 2014.
Urban Hermit Memoir Musical Set for United Solo on November 3
Minnesota storyteller/songwriter Rachel Nelson brings her memoir musical THE URBAN HERMIT to the 2013 United Solo Theater Festival on Nov. 3. This coming-of-age story about coming out, sobering up, and street busking is directed by Beth Margolis Brooks, founding member of the Margolis-Brown Adaptors Theatre Company.
