BIO

Robin Rothstein is a critically acclaimed playwright, commissioned book writer and lyricist, and content creator whose work has been produced in New York City, across the U.S. and abroad.

A sampling of productions includes Mad Libs Live! (Off-Broadway: New World Stages); Libretto (Winner: Samuel French Off-Off Broadway Short Play Festival); In A Manner of Speaking (Actors Theatre of Louisville); and The Game Boy (Vital Theatre Company). Her short plays and monologues are featured in “Best of” collections published by Samuel French, Inc. (now Concord Theatricals), Heinemann, Pioneer Press, and Smith & Kraus, as well as translated into Chinese in an anthology published by Foreign Language Teaching And Research Press.

As a freelance writer, Robin has written for the Clyde Fitch Report, Broadway.com, and Time Out New York, and her video production work can be found on her YouTube channel RockinWorks Creative.

Robin also has an extensive background on the business side of the Broadway touring industry in booking and presenting.

She is a member of the Dramatists Guild, Inc., ASCAP, and Actors’ Equity Association, and a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the National Theater Institute at The Eugene O’Neill Center.
