BIO

Robin Bartlett is a talented actress who has made her mark on both stage and screen. Born on April 22, 1951, in New York City, Bartlett grew up with a love for the arts. She attended the High School of Performing Arts and went on to study drama at Boston University.


Bartlett made her Broadway debut in 1981 in the play "A Life" by Hugh Leonard. She then went on to appear in several other Broadway productions, including "Crimes of the Heart" by Beth Henley, "Something Old, Something New" by A.R. Gurney, and "Prelude to a Kiss" by Craig Lucas. In 2009, she starred in the Broadway revival of "The Norman Conquests" by Alan Ayckbourn, which earned her a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Play.
Aside from her stage work, Bartlett has also had a successful career in film and television. She made her film debut in 1981 with a small role in the comedy "Modern Problems" starring Chevy Chase. She went on to appear in several other films, including "The Secret of My Success" starring Michael J. Fox, "Lean on Me" starring Morgan Freeman, and "Moonstruck" starring Cher and Nicolas Cage.
Bartlett has also made numerous appearances on television. She has appeared in several popular TV shows, including "Law & Order," "The Good Wife," and "Mad Men." She is perhaps best known for her role as Camilla Sternwood in the cult classic TV series "Twin Peaks." She also had a recurring role on the hit show "The Leftovers" and appeared in the limited series "The Plot Against America."
In addition to her work in film and television, Bartlett has also worked in the theater. She has appeared in several off-Broadway productions, including "The Lady and the Clarinet" by Michael Cristofer and "Everett Beekin" by Richard Greenberg. She has also worked with several regional theaters, including the Williamstown Theatre Festival and the Long Wharf Theatre.
Bartlett is known for her ability to bring depth and nuance to her performances. She has a natural talent for portraying complex characters and has a keen understanding of the human psyche. Her performances are often praised for their subtlety and emotional depth.
