PREFORMANCES WITH ALLISON CHARNEY celebrated the start of its Tenth Anniversary Season Series on Monday October 22 at Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Music Center with distinguished guest artists baritone Gustavo Ahualli, pianist Joel Fan, violinist Kelly Hall-Tompkins and pianist Donna Weng Friedman, performing together with PREformances founder, soprano Allison Charney and collaborative pianist Craig Ketter.
Netflix to Open New Mexico Production Hub

Today, Governor Susana Martinez, Mayor Tim Keller, and Ty Warren, Vice President, Physical Production for Netflix announced that Netflix has chosen Albuquerque, NM as the site of a new U.S. production hub and is in final negotiations to purchase ABQ Studios, located in Albuquerque's Mesa Del Sol. Upon closing, the company plans to bring $1 billion dollars in production to New Mexico over the next ten years and create up to 1000 production jobs a year.

JCC Manhattan proudly presents PREformances with Allison Charney featuring violinists Laura Jean Goldberg, Ani Bukujian and Alexandros Martino Petrin, violist Lisa Heffter, cellist Roberta Cooper, pianists Alexei Tartakovsky and Moshe Knoll as well as actor, Jordan Charney, on Monday, April 11th at 12:30pm. The program will feature world premieres by American composers Kim D. Sherman and Moshe S. Knoll, along with Debussy's beautiful 'Arpeggio Etude' and Liszt's thrilling 'Chasse Neige' for virtuoso piano.
