The Human Race embraces its mission of “exploring the human condition” in its 36th season by presenting themes of family, national security, dementia, creativity, race, and autism. Honoring its mission by “promoting enlightenment, inclusion and understanding,” the season includes two World Premieres (one play and one musical), a regional premiere, a Tony and Pulitzer Prize winning play, and the return of a favorite.

Clubbed Thumb Announces Full Programming For 25th SUMMERWORKS Festival
Tony Award-nominated and five-time Obie Award-winning theater company Clubbed Thumb has announced the complete line-up for the rescheduled 25th SUMMERWORKS festival of new plays. SUMMERWORKS will run May 20 – July 2, 2022 at The Wild Project (195 East 3rd Street) and will feature productions of three new plays.

George’s career includes not only his 37 years as President of the O’Neill and Chairman of its Board of Trustees, but also numerous activities and accomplishments in theater throughout the world.

Audible Theater’s new stage production of the Eugene O’Neill epic Long Day’s Journey into Night, directed by Tony Award nominee Robert O’Hara (A Streetcar Named Desire for Audible, Slave Play), will now begin performances on Tuesday, January 18, one week later than planned.
