Mindy Pfeffer’s new play HOW TO LIVE opened on January 25 at the 14th Street Y in the East Village. The World Premiere runs until January 29 and is being presented by LABA (A Laboratory for Jewish Culture), a NYC-based artist fellowship program for which Pfeffer was a part of in 2021. The Theatre Community Benevolent Fund Announces New Leadership
Since 1997, the Theatre Community Benevolent Fund has been and continues to provide financial relief in a confidential, respectful manner to individual theater practitioners and non-profit theater organizations of Greater Boston and the surrounding areas who are facing occurrences of a catastrophic nature including but not limited to extreme illness, devastating acts of nature, housing emergencies, vandalism, and theft, and who have limited or no resources with which to handle such events.
NOTES FROM A SMALL ISLAND Will Embark on UK Tour
Jon Culshaw will star as 'Bill Bryson' in a brand-new stage production of Bryson's award-winning memoir NOTES FROM A SMALL ISLAND adapted by BAFTA and Olivier Award winning playwright Tim Whitnall. Directed by the Watermill's Artistic Director Paul Hart, the production will have its world premiere in Newbury on Thursday 24 September and play until Saturday 31 October, with a national press night on Monday 28 September. The production will then tour to Malvern, Cambridge, and Richmond, with further dates to announced.

Today Andy Clockwise has shared the official video for 'Money Power Sex & Fame.' The video which was filmed by Robert Murphy premiered today at New Noise Magazine and will be available this Friday on all streaming platforms. The song is the sixth single from an onslaught of new music from Andy Clockwise including collaborations with Bella Darling & Rosa Pullman which is showing us that Andy is sitting on an embarrassment of riches which will only intensify in 2020, with the release of the much anticipated War Stories record.
Theatre Of The Beat Presents #CHURCHTOO
Theatre of the Beat presents #ChurchToo, a collective creation by seven playwrights from across North America. Directed by Matt White (Green Light Arts) with dramaturgy by Theatre of the Beat's Artistic Director Johnny Wideman, #ChurchToo explores the struggle of wading into the realities of sexual assault and examines the difficulties of speaking out in a community where the topic of sex is often considered taboo.
