Playhouse on the Square presents the regional premiere of Robert Schenkkan's political drama All The Way. The winner of the 2014 Tony Award for Best Play, All The Way takes us to November 1963. An assassin's bullet has just catapulted Lyndon Baines Johnson into the presidency. A man with a towering ambition and appetite, LBJ finds himself embroiled in passing the Civil Rights Act as he campaigns for re-election, and searches for the recognition he so desperately wants.

That single statement, made by President Lyndon Johnson, sums up the theme of ALL THE WAY; a new play by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Robert Schenkkan, now playing at ZACH Theatre. Winner of the Tony Award for Best Play, ALL THE WAY examines the period between Kennedy's assassination and Johnson's landslide reelection on November 3, 1964. ALL THE WAY is the first of two plays by Schenkkan on Johnson's presidency. The second part, THE GREAT SOCIETY, continues the Johnson story from 1964 to 1968.

ZACH Theatre announces the full cast for the upcoming Texas Premiere of 2014 Tony Award - winning play All The Way by Robert Schenkkan, based on Lyndon Baines Johnson's first year as President of the United States. ZACH Theatre Producing Artistic Director DAVE STEAKLEY will direct at the Topfer Theatre on the Karen Kuykendall stage April 8 - May 10, 2015. Noted Broadway, film, and television actor STEVE VINOVICH will star as President Lyndon Baines Johnson. Mr. Vinovich performed the role of Rep. Emanuel Cellar in the Broadway production of All The Way and was the understudy to Bryan Cranston as LBJ.
