2018 LMGI Awards To Honor Location Pros Rino Pace And Josh Karan
Honorees for the 5th Annual Location Managers Guild International Awards (LMGI) were announced today by LMGI President Eric Klosterman. New York based location manager JOSH KARAN (ALSAM founder) will take home the Trailblazer Award, and the Lifetime Achievement Award will honor Canadian Location Manager RINO PACE (Inception, Deadpool, Unforgiven).

Nominees for the Location Managers Guild International's (LMGI) 5th Annual Awards were announced today by LMGI president Eric Klosterman. The awards honor productions in feature films, television programs and commercials from around the globe, in which the creative use of filming locations enhances or helps to drive the storyline. The LMGI Awards also recognize outstanding service by Film Commissions for their support “above and beyond” during the production process. Winners will be revealed during a formal ceremony on Saturday, April 7, 2018.

The Location Managers Guild International (LMGI) announced the winners of its 4th Annual Location Managers Guild International Awards tonight. The event honored the outstanding and creative international contributions of location professionals and film commissions in seven categories of film, television and commercials. The black-tie awards ceremony took place at the Steven J. Ross Theater at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank before an audience of 500, including LMGI members, industry executives and press. Dinner Party Download's Rico Gagliano served as host.
Local Spray Paint Artist Creates AMERICAN IDIOT Mural in Indy
A local spray paint artist will be showing off his skills in Indianapolis, near the Broad Ripple area, to promote the Broadway smash-hit musical American Idiot that premieres at Clowes Memorial Hall April 2 - 7, 2013. The artwork will be displayed on the side of Sigman's Gallery on the corner of Winthrop and Broad Ripple Avenue. Robert Bentley, an IUPUI Herron School of Art and Design senior, has been involved with spray paint murals for 10 years and will be showcasing his talent at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 29, 2013. Opportunities for interviewing and video will be available while spectators watch the art unfold.
