Cherry Lane Theatre, the oldest continuously running Off-Broadway theatre in New York City, has a new owner, it has been announced by Angelina Fiordellisi, the theatre’s Executive Director since having acquired the building in 1996. Cherry Lane is located at 38 Commerce Street in Greenwich Village.

As temperatures around the country begin to rise and people yearn for the longer days ahead, viewers will enjoy an entire month of summer-inspired movies when Hallmark Channel premieres four all-new original movies in May. The programming event kicks off with 'Paris, Wine & Romance' (working title) (Saturday, May 4, 9 p.m. ET/PT) followed by 'A Feeling of Home' (Saturday, May 11, 9 p.m. ET/PT), and 'Sailing into Love' (Saturday, May 18, 9 p.m. ET/PT), 'From Friend to Fiancé' (Saturday, May 25, 9 p.m. ET/PT) and 'Love in the Sun' (Monday, May 27, 9 p.m. ET/PT).'

Midtown Direct Rep (MDR) is delighted to present its second reading of its 2017-1018 staged reading series, Theater at The Woodland, with a presentation of FEAR, written by Matt Williams and directed by Mark Armstrong. This event will be performed for one night only on Sunday, December 3rd at 7:00pm at The Woodland (60 Woodland Rd. Maplewood, NJ), where MDR is the resident theater company. The reading is $20 (advance purchase), $25 (if purchased at the door) and open to the public. Student/Senior discounts are also available.
