A stage manager cues the creation of the world. She's in control of everything, she's either God, or she thinks she is. Adam and Steve and Jane and Mabel, in The Garden of Eden, an ark, a visit with a highly rambunctious Pharaoh and finally even the Nativity. Fast forward to modern day Manhattan another baby, a lesbian wedding with a Jewish lesbian Rabbi to officiate and a bond that cannot be broken. Performances are November 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17, 18 at 8:00 pm and Matinee Sunday November 12th at 2:00 pm. Columbus Performing Arts Center, Shedd Theatre, 549 Franklin Avenue, Columbus, OH 43215. Welcome to Heartsville High, set in a world where everyone is gaywell, almost everyone. The big man on campus is the chess champion and the captain of the football team is made cool by being cast as the lead in the school musical. The students write a controversial show called 'Don't ask, Don't tell' about straight people in the military, which becomes the catalyst for a young man and woman to fall in love. Enter Zanna, a magical, musical fairy who, with a wave of his wand, brings true love to one and all.

Here is Rydell High's senior class of 1959: duck-tailed, hot-rodding 'Burger Palace Boys' and their gum-snapping, hip-shaking 'Pink Ladies' in bobby sox and pedal pushers, evoking the look and sound of the time in this rollicking musical. Head 'greaser' Danny Zuko and new (good) girl Sandy Dumbrowski try to relive the high romance of their 'Summer Nights' as the rest of the gang sings and dances its way through such songs as 'Greased Lightnin', 'It's Raining on Prom Night', and 'Alone at the Drive-In Movie'. An 8-year run on Broadway and two subsequent revivals along with place Grease among the world's most popular musicals.
