EDINBURGH 2017 - BWW Review: A JOKE, theSpace on Niddry Street
Starring Richard Oliver, Robert Picardo and Sylvester McCoy, A Joke depicts three men meeting in a void and attempting to figure out who they are and what has brought them together. They swiftly realise that they are apparently the set up for an archetypal joke, and attempt to understand the nature of their existence. The result is something akin to Waiting for Godot crossed with Six Characters in Search of An Author.
theSpaceUK Announces its Programme for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2017
theSpaceUK is proud to announce the line-up for its 2017's Edinburgh Festival Fringe programme. This year will feature over 350 shows across 17 performance spaces - more than 100 more shows than any other Edinburgh Fringe producer - literally offering something to suit everyone, from new writing to classical music, hard-hitting productions about contemporary issues to dance training for the learning-disabled, and everything in between. theSpaceUK occupies an unparalleled position with its two central hubs on the Royal Mile and Nicholson Street/Hill Square. The former is enlarged this year with the return of theSpace on North Bridge (Carlton Hilton Hotel) after a two-year absence, presenting two very smart new spaces.

'Messages from the Second Pew: Reviving The Apostle Creed': a meaningful look at what all too often has become a rote prayer, to uncover the true meaning behind each passage of the Apostles' Creed. 'Messages from the Second Pew: Reviving The Apostle Creed' is the creation of published author, Richard Oliver, a one-time sportswriter, U.S. Army veteran, retired corporate executive, author of several professional works, long time Sunday-School teacher, active member of Lithonia First United Methodist Church, and a Certified Lay Leader of the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church. He holds a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Nevada, an M.S. in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and an M.B.A. from Georgia State University. His journey to Christ began with his marriage to his wife Karen in 1973. In retirement, he has finally found time to reflect on the Christian experience in contemporary society and pursue his passion for writing. He and Karen reside in Conyers, Georgia.
Shakespeare's Globe Coming to U.S. Stages, Screens This Year with THE MERCHANT OF VENICE & More

Kentwood Kids' GREECE THE MUSICAL Plays Now thru 6/16
The Kentwood Players present a Kentwood Kids production of "GREECE! - The Musical" by Sue Gordon, on Saturdays, beginning tonight, June 2 and continuing June 9 and 16 at 11:00am and 2:00pm at the Westchester Playhouse, located at 8301 Hindry Avenue in Westchester (LA 90045).
